Download & Requirements

Download Latest version of Kingroot.apk. You’ll need a zip file named Replace kinguser with supersu and an app called Terminal Emulator

How to Root Walton Primo RM2 by Kingroot

  • At first, Download latest Kingroot.apk from the above link
  • Then open your phone, Go to Setting>About Phone>Fine the Build Version, and click over the Build version for 6-7 times. This will enable your phone’s Developer mode.
  • Then again go to Setting>Developer Mode(you will find it above About Phone)> Enable USB Debugging.
  • Finally go back to Setting>Security>Enable Unknown Source (In Case if you didn’t enabled it yet)

  • Kingroot required Internet Data Connection. Make sure you have enough data.(minimum 10 MB)
  • At first Kingroot will ask for root checking, Press on TRY TO ROOT.

  • Rooting process will take less then 5 minutes. After successfully finishing the process, you’ll see an app named Kinguser. Congratulations! You’re phone has been successfully rooted.
  • Your phone might get reboot by itself in the rooting process. Don’t worry. 🙂
  • If your rooting process fail, don’t panic. Restart your phone and try the process again from the beginning.

Install SuperSU by Replacing KingUser

Installing SuperSU in Walton Primo RM2 is much easier than other models of android phones. All you need to do is to download Replace kinguser with supersu and Terminal Emulator from the above links. After Downloading, just follow the steps below..

Method – 1

  • First of all, Open a File Explorer which can extract zip file, I will recommend you to use ES File Explorer. Now find and extract it.
  • After extracting the Replace_Kinguser_with_supersu file transfer the “Extracted Folder – MRW” to outermost directory in the External storage.
  • Open Terminal Emulator App & Write the Following commands in the Android Terminal.
  • Type the command SU in the terminal, after writing the SU in terminal, you will be prompted with the message box asking you to deny/grant the functions. Granting permission will help you remove the kinguser on your smartphone.

  • After granting permissions you will have to type one single line of code, The other command will be: sh /sdcard/mrw/ 
  • There is a space after sh

  • After writing the above command, it might show some error, but ignore that error, it will automatically launch SuperSU, In case if it doesn’t, manually open SuperSU.
  • Once done, Restart your smartphone and you will see that SuperSU works flawlessly on your Smartphone.


Method – 2

On some rare version of Walton Primo RM2( Because RM2 has 5 versions of phone), method – 1 doesnt work. If you face problem on method 1, hence please follow this post How To Replace Kinguser with SuperSU
