Requirements

You must need a Bootloader unlocked and Custom recovery – TWRP 3.0.3-1 or higher installed device to use AOKP Rom on Google Pixel XL.

How To Install Unofficial AOKP Rom on Google Pixel XL

  1. At first download and copy the AOKP ROM, TWRP installer and gapp.zip file.
  2. It’s wise to backup your Current ROM, no matter how confident or experienced you are. So anything happen unpleasant you can retrieve back your old ROM. If you don’t know how to backup ROM using Custom Recovery then Click Here.
  3. Now boot into TWRP and select wipe, Perform factory reset (Wipe data, cache and system)
  4. Now flash AOKP ROM zip. and flash TWRP installer zip.
  5. Go back to TWRP main menu select reboot then select recovery to flash the gapps zip (OPTIONAL).
  6. First boot may take a while… After that enjoy the Unofficial Stable build of AOKP Rom on Google Pixel XL (Nougat 97.1) (merlin).
