  1. Base Of the ROM & Version?
    ->Rom is based on AOSP.

    -Why no “Incremental updates” Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff are merged and added. So we don’t provide incremental updates and recommend clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
    ->Yes, full Substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?

    -What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.

We currently do not have substratum commits in the ROM because they have not updated their repos on git for Oreo. As such, if you want to use Substratum, you will be doing so by allowing root and using legacy mode. you -must- make sure whatever theme you try supports 8.1. Even some that say they support Oreo may only work with 8.0, not 8.1. I’d recommend the following:
Suggestion: whenever installing themes, remove your pin/password so you can get TWRP to mount data.
If you get in a FC/bootloop situation, boot to TWRP, mount data and remove the file /data/system/overlays.xml.
That should allow you to boot and uninstall the overlays without reinstalling anything.

  3. Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

None that stand out, If you find something that is consistently reproducible, do so and pull a log. Without logs, we cannot fix the bugs. Please report any that you run into, assuming you have tested on a clean install.

  5. Not recommended if you do not have prior knowledge about porting. Rest is up to you.

Please take a complete backup of your phone, download stock firmware..and fully charge your phone. if anything goes wrong, you can always return to your stock ROM by flashing stock. DO some research.

  6. You cannot flash this ROM conventionally, rather use ADB-SIDELOAD feature to do it. If your recovery support ADB-SIDELOAD. You can flash it through ADB.

But using Lineage Recovery is recommended.

  7. You have to port according to your device!

  8. You should not flash custom recovery such as TWRP via SP Flash Tool.
Sometimes it will work, other times it will leave your device in boot looping issue.

  9. There no such device as “Meziu 9T3”

  10. We were working on it. We had been a long vacation!

  11. Rom was being ported from another device.

  12. Try to download appropriate firmware pack for you device provided by device manufacturers.

  13. yes! but first you need to port the rom

  14. you can use fastboot to flash any recovery…its the universal method…But for some case you might need extra software,,,,such as Samsung’s odin…or mediatek chipset device need SP flashtools

  15. Can you please explain what kind of problem you are facing?

  16. ki dhoroner prblem? Flash hoy na naki Flash hbar por loading screen aa atke thake?

  25. Did you follow the step of video link I had provided?

  26. Did you enable USB debugging? and did you install the USB driver correctly?

  27. Mr. Jamil,

TWRP is far more superior than Philz Touch Recovery. It is wise to use the best recovery image on your Symphony P8 Pro

  28. Here are two suggested method of installing TWRP in you Symphony P8 Pro.

Method 1 TWRP Flash Without PC

Method 2TWRP Flashing VIA SP Flash Tools

  29. Flash the Patch from recovery and reboot your phone

  30. I’m glad that you finally get to use our custom rom.

  31. Did you download and flashed the Rom according to your device variant whether it is V5/V6? If you haven’t then you might face this kind of problem.

  32. Mr. Ratul,
Rom info didn’t say that it will powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In my personal opinion, Lollipop custom rom is far better than buggy marshmallow. Lollipop is more stable than marshmallow.
