1MORE PistonBuds Pro offers consumers family-style classic elements once more. PistonBuds Pro’s noise cancellation performance is superior to that of 1More ComfoBuds Pro. After thoroughly considering the product strength of 1MORE Piston Buds Pro, I believe this earbud is worthy of recommendation.

1MORE PistonBuds Pro specs and features:

Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC
90ms gaming latency
IPX5 waterproof rating (rain and sweatproof)
5 – 7.5 hours of playtime on a full charge (ANC on/ off)
The charging case can charge earbuds fully 4 times
Comes with 3 pair ear tips, USB-C cable, English manual

Design:

The 1MORE Piston Buds Pro has a lovely appearance. Everything begins with a rounded case on the sides but is flat on the top and bottom. The lid is slightly loose, and the gloss under the concentrically polished metal can get dirty quickly, but the matte plastic is excellent everywhere else.
The earphones themselves, by the way, are similar, with a cylindrical base and a concentric texture.
Back to the case, Returning to the point, there is a USB Type-C connector and a physical button responsible for pairing behind it. A nameplate with essential information is located at the bottom.

Controls and Software:

The control strategy is straightforward and uncomplicated. Long press to choose between noise reduction modes, double-tap to pause and playback, and triple press to activate the voice assistant. BUT! Controls are reprogrammable. For instance, you can skip tracks by triple-clicking.

PistonBuds Pro, like my previous 1MORE headphones, is compatible with 1MORE Music-branded software:

When you take the headphones out of your ear, it shows how much charge they have and sets the noise level and ambient mode. It also has a low input delay switch for games, as well as control settings and an equalizer with more than a dozen presets. You can also change the firmware.

In the app, you can play soothing sounds that will be played simultaneously as what is already on your phone. This is very interesting. At least on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro at least. However, the quality of these soothing sounds isn’t excellent. They don’t even feel like stereo, and they sound even worse on the 1More PistonBuds Pro, where bad mastering is most noticeable.

Sound Quality:

The 1MORE Piston Buds Pro provides a comfortable listening experience in the low-frequency region. Basses are accurate and resonant. For some, the emphasis on the low-frequency spectrum may be excessive.

The barrier between the mids and highs blurs pretty fast, giving them the appearance of being somewhat hazy. This sensation, however, fades when we approach the high-frequency region. It sounds warm and stretched.

The 1MORE MUSIC app allows for sound adjustment. You can select among 12 sound profiles that have been “tuned by Luca using Sonarworks.”

Active Noise Canceling (ANC):

The PistonBuds Pro’s “QuietMax” ANC technology is one of the best in its class. There is no background noise perceptible in silence, the sound quality is intact, and the frequently experienced sensation of pressure is also absent.

This noise suppression is effective and at a high level. Filtration of low frequencies is effective. High frequencies are present to a degree, which is quite normal. Along with the standard ANC mode, a true winds style (wind noise-resistant) eliminates unpleasant wind noise. It also works reliably, as demonstrated by a hairdryer test.

Finally, a transparent mode enhances ambient noise as an additional mode. This is a beneficial function, particularly in traffic, and one that 1MORE has done nicely as well.

Battery Life:

One charge lasts 7 hours without ANC and 22 hours with the case. There are 5 hours left with ANC and 15 hours stranded with the matter. However, charging is quick; 5 minutes is sufficient for an hour of playback. Wireless charging is not available. On the other hand, the buds are self-contained and can be utilized independently without difficulty.

Verdict:

Apart from the confusing sound performance, the 1MORE PistonBuds Pro is a reasonably excellent product. For reasonably priced, trendy, sleek, and high-quality TWS model that can easily find a buyer. Remember to preheat it.
