The first release of Samsung  S7 & Samsung S7 edge are with Exynos processors, and the latter release of US models with Snapdragon 820 processors. Those devices’ bootloaders are locked, Because of that you can not root those devices just yet.

If you owned Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow running Samsung S7 & s7 edge with Exynos processors (Exynos variants), you can easily root your device using Chainfire’s CF-Auto-Root. Recently Chainfire has just released its root tool with support for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.
